May - June

  • Black Board Gallery, Studio Channel Islands 2222 Ventura Boulevard Camarillo, CA, 93010 United States (map)

THE KEEPSAKE EXHIBITION by Gale Fulton Ross presents a stimulus for the mind in the form of 24 new works inspired by precious mementos and objets d'art and dedicated to sufferers of memory loss.

Motivated by the artist's personal experiences with family and friends, this exhibition explores the double entendre of memorabilia as agents that provoke memories and as metaphors for memory itself. In the creative context of Fulton Ross ordinary bric-a-brac becomes a poignant symbol of the profound significance of the little things in life.

The exhibition is happening at Studio Channel Islands Art Studios until the end of June.
